Edinburgh College of Art, The University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1583, is located in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is one of the six oldest universities in England and a multidisciplinary university, which, together with the University of Oxford and Cambridge, was a founding member of the Russell Group. The University of Edinburgh is ranked 17th in the world by the 2013 QS rankings. It is ranked 39th in the world by the 2013-14 Times Higher Education Ranking. Alumni of the university include some of the major figures of modern history, including 3 Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom, 18 Nobel Prize winners.


Edinburgh College of Art is one of the largest and oldest art academics in Europe.
