The core curriculum is based on the Donghua University and the Edinburgh University School of art's fashion innovation curriculum, but are not limited to, the basis of clothing technology, fashion dynamic sketch, software design, fashion painting, plate making and process, printing and fabric surface design, modernism and structure design, clothing history, human body construction, computer-aided clothing design, creative plate making, women's clothing design, diversity design, men's clothing customization, creative men's clothing deduction, clothing accessories design, from fashion trends to design thinking, knitted clothing design, fashion brand strategy, fashion brand series creation, contemporary style analysis and series preparation, product analysis and sample clothing series.



The practical courses include: Professional Research, work collection and practice, series work creation, graduation work display and so on. At the same time, curriculum teaching through international school-enterprise cooperation projects and other models, the use of theory and practice, so that students have the opportunity to participate in Studio Project Research, and encourage students to complete the design of the materialization and production process, accumulate rich practical experience.



More than 1/3 of the courses will be taught in China by Edinburgh University's Edinburgh School of art teachers. Students will be able to keep abreast of the latest international academic trends and fashion trends. This major has a strong background, high-quality and high-end Introduction of international teachers, local and international integration of the innovative concept, to create the theory and practice of equal emphasis on training characteristics. The project-based teaching model of the University of Edinburgh is introduced, with the project as the course unit and the courses of each semester arranged around more than 3 professional projects, with emphasis on training students' practical ability and working methods of teamwork.
