Dr. Chen Qing, an associate professor, specializes in foundational research on knitted structure design and thermal-humid transfer performance in the textile field, as well as sustainable fashion materials and fashion apparel design. She has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects, one Shanghai Natural Science Foundation project, one Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation project, and one Jiangsu Policy Guidance Program for Industry-University-Research Collaboration. She has published over 50 papers in journals such as *Advanced Functional Materials*, *ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces*, *Textile Research Journal*, and *The Journal of Industrial Textiles*. Additionally, she has managed more than 10 horizontal projects, was selected as a Science and Technology Deputy Director in Jiangsu Province, and holds over 10 authorized invention patents. As the first contributor, she won the Second Prize and Third Prize of the China Federation of Industry and Commerce Science and Technology Progress Award. She has also participated in winning the First Prize, three Second Prizes, and one Third Prize of the China Textile Industry Association Science and Technology Award. In 2024, she was honored with the title of Best Teacher in My Heart by Donghua University's 23rd edition. Under her guidance, students have won the National Scholarship, Shanghai Outstanding Graduate Awards, the Pu Yuan Cup PH Value China Knitting Designer Competition, the 11th Anhui Industrial Design Competition, the China University Original Hanfu Design Competition, and the China University Textile Design Competition.
