Recently, a delegation led by Li Jun, Dean of the Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation, visited Fengfa Group for a research tour under the theme "Sustainability × Infinity – The 'Future Form' of Urban Renewal".

Zhu Wenzhong, Chairman of Fengfa Group, Zhou Weizhong, Deputy General Manager, as well as leaders from the Southern Shanghai Urban Renewal Research Institute of Fengxian District, Shanghai Luding Culture and Technology Development Co., Ltd. and other institutions attended the symposium.

At the symposium, Li Jun introduced the disciplinary characteristics and research directions of our university in fashion design, living environment and other fields. He stated that as an intellectual source of social development, it is incumbent upon universities to pay attention to and participate in regional development. Donghua University is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with local authorities, and hopes to provide new ideas and perspectives for urban renewal and brand building in Fengxian District by sharing professional insights.

Zhu Wenzhong welcomed the delegation led by Li Jun and introduced the overall plan and development philosophy of Fengxian District’s current urban renewal initiatives. He noted that in the course of development, Fengxian attaches great importance to injecting cultural and creative elements to enhance regional vitality. He believed that the disciplinary advantages of Donghua University are highly compatible with Fengxian’s development needs, and hoped that the two sides would have more opportunities for in-depth exchanges and idea sharing in the future.

The participants also exchanged views on topics of common concern such as the revitalization of urban public spaces, trends in the cultural and creative industry, and the attraction of young talents. The two sides clarified their cooperation intentions, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up university-enterprise cooperation to promote the youth-oriented development and brand enhancement of Fengxian.
