简介

Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Dean of the Environmental Art Design Research Institute at Donghua University, and the Academic Leader for the Environmental Art Design direction, a key discipline in Shanghai. He serves as an evaluation expert for the Ministry of Education's third and fourth rounds of the Design discipline national assessment. His research focuses on Environmental System Design, specializing in the disciplinary study of Chinese Urban Furniture design. He has proposed the theoretical framework for Chinese Environmental System Design, specifically manifested in the Seven-in-One design theory, methodology, and practical principles. He is also the originator of the term and concept of Urban Furniture in China.

 

He led and is responsible for the development of the 211 Project national key construction programthe Landscape Simulation System Laboratory. This project established China's sole and world-leading landscape simulation system laboratory (one of the world's eight major landscape simulation labs). He has published over 40 professional papers and served as the editor-in-chief or author for 26 professional publications, including Environmental Art Design in China, Urban Furniture System Design, Urban Public Art Landscape, Detailed Analysis of Paving Landscapes, Environmental Signage and Wayfinding System Design, and the series Environmental Art Design in China: Collected Discourses, Discussions, Essays, and Views.

 

His works were selected for the 2nd National Youth Fine Arts Exhibition and the 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition. Additionally, he led the compilation of a series of national industry standards for Urban Furniture in China, as well as local standards for urban furniture.
