简介 AA diploma, Chief Designer at DieChong Architectural Design. He graduated with a master's degree from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 2015, and his work has been selected for the AA Principal's Selection Exhibition. His extensive experience living and working in both the East and the West has enabled him to combine Western rationality and rigor with Eastern openness and tolerance, enabling him to discern and analyze clients' deepest needs. His years of architectural practice have instilled in him a keen sense of site, materiality, light, function, and context, as well as a deep understanding of construction techniques. Since 2008, he has worked for numerous domestic and international architectural firms, including MAD Beijing, Studio Twist Shanghai, and PLP London. His projects span residential, commercial, and cultural center buildings, as well as interiors such as restaurants, offices, and shops. Since practicing, he has been featured in a designer profile in FRAME Design Magazine, and his work has been published in numerous leading design magazines and websites.
研究领域 He focuses on small- and medium-sized cultural tourism and commercial projects, including urban renewal, cultural tourism planning, and interior and exterior renovations. His research based on the behaviors and preferences of young consumers, particularly Gen Z consumers, in the new cultural tourism and commercial sectors. He also conducts commercial transformation based on the actual commercial investment needs of small and medium-sized business owners. By integrating first-hand practical data with immersive insights into real-world commercial consumption scenarios, he proposes constructive and actionable micro-plans based on practical national conditions rather than utopian macro-perspectives. He also conducts in-depth research and reflection on common issues encountered during the implementation of these designs. |
