简介

Qiantian Wang specialises in using digital sculpting technology to articulate her own design logic crossinng different scales and forms of practice, such as fashion, jewellery, furniture and product design.

Raised in a multi-ethnic area, Yunnan Provice, and influenced by the Austrian Secession Group, she can draw out the keen insight into the nature and spirit of her beloved culture with irregular curves and numerous decorations.

She graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Universitat für angewandte Kunst Wien) with a Master Degree in Architecture under the tutelage of Hernan Diaz Alonso. From 2014 to 2019, she was the design director of XUBERANCE, a wellknown 3D printing design company in China, and from 2019 she launched her own design brand, Sharawadgi.

Her works have been presented and awarded in prestigious exhibitions such as Milan Design Week Satellite Salon Exhibition and Design Shanghai. Her work has also been published in Bazaar, Vogue, Link and other public media.

She worked as an educator in various collaborative programmes at Tongji University, Tsinghua University, AA Summer School and Sci-ARC.
