The 2026 Donghua University Shanghai International Summer School has come to a successful close.

Over three inspiring weeks, students from 12 partner universities across 8 countries explored Chinese intangible cultural heritage through field research, sustainable design, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Their final projects reimagined traditional crafts through contemporary design, demonstrating how heritage can inspire innovation and shape a more sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to every student, partner, and mentor who made this journey so meaningful.
